The Children’s School

The Children’s School is for students 2 – 10 years of age. No auditions are required. Classes offered include Creative Movement, Preballet, Ballet, and Introduction to Jazz. All classes are taught in a fun and loving atmosphere emphasizing creativity and individuality, while introducing proper dance etiquette and self-respect. Class sizes are limited.

All Children’s School students will participate in our annual Spring Recital in May. Additionally, all students will have the opportunity to audition for The Nutcracker: Land of Sweets and perform with our Conservatory students in December. 

As you grow…

The students of The Children‘s School will be invited to audition for The Conservatory Training Program between the ages of 8 – 10 when they have attained the appropriate skill set and dedication level. As students ascend the levels of The Children’s School we continue to introduce the necessary etiquette, work ethic, patience, and persistence it will take to succeed in The Conservatory. The Children’s School graduates will be prepared and confident for their audition and are given priority consideration for placement in The Conservatory Training Program.

Graduates of The Children’s School also have a secondary option to continue their dance training in The Moderate Program. Here, students will continue to gain the benefits of quality dance education in a more relaxed atmosphere with a less time intensive schedule than our Conservatory students, allowing time for other outside interests. Classes offered include Ballet, Broadway Jazz, and Contemporary.
